On October 11th, YouTuber iwannabethecollector then uploaded a video mixing the original with RichaadEB's cover, garnering over 13.9 million views in a comparable span of time (shown below, right). On October 8th, 2015, musician and YouTuber RichaadEB uploaded a metal cover of "Megalovania," garnering over 12.3 million views in five years (shown below, left).

In the following years, the song was included on the soundtrack for the webcomic Homestuck, first used on the Flash animation " Wake" (shown below). On December 5th, 2009, YouTuber Cameron uploaded the song, garnering over 2.6 million views in 12 years (shown below). Andonuts, a track produced for the game titled "Megalovania" plays. In 2008, Toby Fox released the EarthBound Halloween Hack, a ROM hack of the SNES video game Earthbound.
